TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Ogallala, Nebraska. The PT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and coordinate with the medical team in an acute care setting.

Requirements include 1 year of PT experience (6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensure. The role involves supervising PTAs, documentation, and ensuring compliance with facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• As a PT, must have 1 year of experience; exceptional candidates with relevant background may be considered for 6 months.
• BLS certification and state-specific physical therapy licensing required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; good knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care for acute care settings.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff; ensure timely documentation.
• Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to coordinate care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and modify plans as patient condition changes.
• Document within established state and insurance guidelines.
