Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Savoy, Illinois. The PT will work 35 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts, in a travel role requiring active clinical supervision and strong documentation. Immediate opening with 1 year of experience preferred, though 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Candidates must hold BLS and state licensure. TotalMed Allied provides benefits and ongoing support for travelers in nursing and allied health

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads welcome.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Understand PT board rules and state regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as patient changes.
• Use hospital computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and compliant documentation.
