Job summary

Towne U.S. LLC is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in West Salem, Wisconsin. The PT will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and deliver high-quality therapy to improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence.

The ideal candidate has an accredited PT program background, active PT license, and strong clinical reasoning. Housing/travel stipends, comprehensive benefits, and dedicated support are provided to support the assignment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Active PT license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain.
Previous clinical experience preferred.
Strong clinical reasoning, communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, strengthening, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility interventions.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical needs and outcomes.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, fall prevention, and safety strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate.
Provide recommendations for continued therapy and follow-up services.
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional treatment environment.
Adapt quickly to new facilities, teams, documentation systems, and patient populations.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care focused on restoring function and maximizing independence.
