Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Mattoon, Illinois. This 13-week engagement requires 40 hours per week, daytime shifts in an acute care setting. You will evaluate and implement a plan of care, supervise PTAs, and document in accordance with state and payer guidelines.

A current license and BLS are required; 6 months to 1 year experience preferred, with new grads considered. Travel stipend and tax considerations are subject to confirmation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience preferred; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• BLS certification and state licensing are required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform routine PT duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center staff to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as needed based on patient condition.
• Use Medical Center EMR and document per state and payer guidelines.
