Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Crystal River, FL. The PT will work 40 hours per week with 8-hour days, performing evaluations and developing plans of care in the acute care setting.

Must have 1 year of experience (6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates) and hold BLS plus state licensing. Responsibilities include supervising PTAs, ensuring proper documentation, and coordinating with physicians and center staff to deliver

Qualifications

• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.
• 1 year of PT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the facility following guidelines.
• Adhere to state PT board regulations and compliance.
• Collaborate with Medical Center staff on care plans.
• Evaluate and update plan of care as patient status changes.
• Document in hospital systems according to guidelines.
