Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 10-week travel assignment in Pollockville, NC. You will evaluate and treat patients in hospitals, clinics, and rehab settings with a focus on restoring mobility and reducing pain.

The ideal candidate has a valid PT license, BLS certification, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. New grads are encouraged to apply and travel benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) current.
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs.
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and calibrate devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development.
• Assist in discharge planning for transitions to home or community.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
