Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Sumter, South Carolina. The position runs for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with day shifts.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of experience (1 year preferred) and holds an active BLS and state licensure. The PT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and coordinate with staff in the acute care setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• BLS certification required; state-specific PT license required.
• Ability to stand, walk long periods and perform bending/stooping as needed.
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the facility following guidelines.
• Coordinate with Medical Center personnel and physicians on plan of care.
• Evaluate and adapt plans of care based on patient condition.
• Utilize Medical Center systems for daily tasks and documentation.

The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted.
