Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Dallas, Texas. The PT will support supervision of therapy staff, manage patient plans of care, and coordinate with medical teams in a fast-paced setting.

This is a 12-week travel engagement offering 40 hours per week and day shifts. Applicants should have at least 6 months of experience (6 months accepted for exceptional cases) and must hold BLS and state licensing.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
• Comply with the respective state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as needed based on patient condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks and documentation compliant with guidelines.

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Dallas, Texas.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Dallas, TX. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.

Tasks

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Requirements*: BLS, 2 Years

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Compensation and Details

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
