TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Cleveland, GA. The role requires evaluating patients, developing and executing a plan of care, and coordinating with the medical team in an acute care setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional backgrounds) and current BLS and state licensure. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week and day shifts.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Cleveland, GA. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.

Tasks

As a PT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facilityUnderstand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective stateInterface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of careUnderstand adaptive equipmentEvaluate and create a plan of careModify plan of care as indicated based on patient's conditionUse Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasksProvide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
