Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Longview, Texas. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.

- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy
- Physical Therapy experience; new graduates welcome to apply
- Other certifications or licenses may be required
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain
- Operate specialized equipment safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration
- Assess progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management
- Maintain a safe treatment environment adhering to infection control and safety protocols
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities
- Participate in discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community settings
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Capable of following written and verbal instructions; PC skills
- Physical Abilities – remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend
- Interpersonal Skills – work with diverse personnel professionally
- Technical/Motor Skills – fine manipulation, assist with procedures, use equipment
- Mental Requirements – handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines, work under supervision or independently, cope with irregular schedules, maintain concentration
