Overview

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Lexington, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within the facility
• Understand the state's PT board rules and regulations and comply accordingly
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify the plan of care as indicated based on the patient\'s condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing
• Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Requirements*: BLS, 2 Years. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay and Title
