Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate travel opening in Monument, CO. The PT will evaluate and implement a plan of care, supervise PTAs, and ensure billing and documentation comply with state rules and center policies.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (new grads welcome), BLS, and state licensure. The position features a 13-week assignment, 40 hours weekly, with a tax-free stipend and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff; bill within setting guidelines.
• Understand and comply with state PT board rules; interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians.
• Understand adaptive equipment; evaluate and modify plans of care as needed.
• Use Medical Center computer systems and document according to guidelines.
• Provide timely documentation in line with state and insurance requirements.

The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted.
