Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds : 330
• Patient Ratios : ~ 10 patients/8-hour day
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : PT, OT, ST, Therapy Director
• Type of equipment: basic rehab equipment, portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, hpyer lifts
• Documentation system: Sunrise Allscripts
• Scheduling requirements: 1 weekend shift per month in addition to full-time hours (current needs are Monday through Friday)
• Floating policy: all inpatient units as well as the ED are covered by this department, we do not cover NICU patients
• Patient Experience requirements: Acute Care experience (we see higher volumes of cardiac, vascular and orthopedic patients), Vestibular experience preferred but not required
