Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to provide skilled therapy services across diverse healthcare settings. The PT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions to improve mobility, function, and independence.

You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other staff, maintain accurate documentation, ensure patient safety, and adapt to different facilities and populations.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the applicable state.
• Previous clinical or physical therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assess strength, mobility, balance, and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training.
• Perform gait, balance, mobility, and strengthening interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and patient responses accurately.

• Maintain patient safety and follow infection control and professional standards.
