Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in North Charleston, SC and surrounding areas. The position requires travel to Mt.

Pleasant, West Ashley, Goose Creek, Summerville, Walterboro and nearby locations. Schedule is 6am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential for permanent placement. A clean driving record and reliable transportation are required, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Formación

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the employing state.
• At least 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Explain the venipuncture and specimen collection process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles; match requisition forms to specimens and label, center, and store specimens as required.
• Check test requisitions or computer labels against scripts for 100% accuracy.
• Package specimens for transport, store samples per temperature requirements, label correctly and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
