Job summary

Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a travel assignment in Medina, OH. The role involves filling prescriptions, preparing IVs, and assisting with medication prepackaging and inventory management under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

The position offers a 13-week contract with shifts from 10a-6p, Monday through Friday and alternating weekends, with a weekly pay schedule. Onsite work and compliance with regulatory standards are required.

Qualifications

• Licensure or certification as required by state
• Experience under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Strong understanding of medication dispensing and inventory management

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions, non-sterile compounds, and prepare IVs under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Prepackage medication for dispensing in compliance with standards and government regulations
• Assist the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions and packaging of medication
• Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
• Assist Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications and supplies
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness
