Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of inpatient hospital experience is required.
• Active AZ pharmacy technician license is mandatory.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPht) credential is required.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Cerner, is preferred.
• Familiarity with Omnicell systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily routine of the pharmacy operations.
• Transport pharmaceuticals to designated areas as needed.
• Prepare unit dose exchange systems accurately.
• Manage inventory and perform stocking of supplies.
• Order pharmaceutical supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Prepare IV admixtures following established protocols.
