Responsibilities include accurate data entry, inventory management, and collaboration with pharmacists to support efficient workflows. Requires a CPhT credential and BLS certification, with weekly compensation and a 13‑week contract.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with current licensure/registration.
• Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional customer service by anticipating needs and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor.
• Enters customer and prescription information accurately into the pharmacy management system.
• Prepares, labels, and packages medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Processes prescription refills, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Responds to routine questions related to medications, insurance, and billing; escalates complex inquiries as appropriate.
• Monitors and restocks inventory to maintain appropriate medication levels and reduce out-of-stock occurrences.
• Orders, receives, and reconciles medications and supplies to prevent discrepancies.
• Maintains records and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and organizational policies.
• Supports audits, inspections, and quality improvement projects.
• Collaborates with pharmacists, technicians, and other staff to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Demonstrates flexibility and organization, particularly during high-volume periods.
• Maintains continuing education credits for certification and career development.
• Performs other duties as assigned or as opportunities arise.
