GHR Healthcare seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician for a travel contract in Rockford, Illinois. The on-site hospital-based retail setting offers 40-hour weeks, 8-hour day shifts (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., M–F with possible Saturday rotations). The assignment runs roughly six weeks from late Oct to early Dec.

The role requires 1 year of tech experience, CPhT certification or active student license, Illinois license status, and BLS. EPIC will be used for medication order processing.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in hospital, retail, or healthcare settings.
• Current CPhT certification through PTCB or NHA, or active pharmacy student license.
• Active Illinois pharmacy technician license or licensure process initiated.
• Current BLS certification and strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and accurate medication handling.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations and use intermediate computer systems.

Responsabilidades

• Process provider medication orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Support daily operations within the hospital-based retail pharmacy.
• Communicate professionally with pharmacists, providers, patients, and healthcare staff.
• Assist with on-site duties requiring standing, walking, and lifting.
