Job summary
Seven Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacist for a travel assignment in New Braunfels, TX. You will prepare and dispense medications, monitor patient therapy, and provide comprehensive pharmacy services in a dynamic healthcare setting.
A Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree, TX licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required. The position offers rotating shifts, 13-week duration, and weekly pay with added benefits through Seven Healthcare.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree required.
- TX state Pharmacy licensure required.
- BLS or ACLS certification required (AHA only).
- PALS certification required (AHA only).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense drug orders per established protocols.
- Interpret and transcribe medication records accurately.
- Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals including sterile products.
- Issue controlled substances and maintain legal records.
- Provide ambulatory care services and manage patient drug therapy.
- Conduct pharmacokinetic consults and renal dosing.
- Engage in antibiotic stewardship and clinical interventions.
- Provide drug education to patients and healthcare staff.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and quality improvement activities.
