MedSol / Sanford Black Hills Surgical Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Rapid City, SD. The role focuses on medication order verification, floor stock management, sterile product handling, and clinical consultations in the surgical setting.

Requirements include hospital pharmacy experience and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Shifts are 40 hours per week with a Day/Evening rotation and orientation on Epic order verification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a hospital pharmacy setting.
• 2-3 years preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsabilités

• Verify medication orders using the Epic system.
• Manage floor stock and compounded sterile products.
• Determine VTE risk in high-risk patients.
• Make patient calls 7–10 days prior to scheduled surgeries.
