Job summary

Chippenham Medical Center in Richmond, VA, seeks a pharmacist for the Hospital Pharmacy unit on nights (20:30–07:00). Hospital experience of 2+ years and Virginia licensure are required. Experience with Meditech, Dose Edge, Pyxis, Vigilanz and CBC/ICU dosing is highly valued.

Candidates should be proficient in IV verification, IV compounding, and complex dosing protocols for Vanc AUC, aminoglycosides, warfarin, and DOACs. Ceremonies and policies will be explained on hire.

Qualifications

• Virginia State Pharmacist license required.
• Hospital experience > 2 years.
• Advanced dosing: Vancomycin AUC, aminoglycosides, renal dosing, DOACs.
• Trauma/Burn/CCU and ECMO experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• IV verification and medication verification on unit.
• IV compounding as needed.
• Dose Edge IV experience and Pyxis operations on the unit.
