• Current, unrestricted pharmacy license from any U.S. state or territory.

• At least 1 year of clinical pharmacy experience.
• Fingerprinting clearance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assist with medication management and patient education.
• Participate in rotational shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Potential for advancement from Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist levels.
• Oversee pharmacy policies, procedures and operations as a Clinic Manager when applicable.
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and assistants.

This travel pharmacist opportunity in Albuquerque, NM offers a 13-week assignment providing comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services. The position supports a main campus and multiple satellite clinics, delivering care to diverse patient populations including neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients.

Work schedule follows a 7 on/7 off rotation, with shifts Wednesday through Tuesday. Daily hours run from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday to Friday, and 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekends. No Arizona license is required; pharmacists licensed in any U.S. state may apply. This role is ideal for experienced pharmacists seeking to gain Indian Health Service (IHS) experience while traveling.
