Job summary

NurseStar Medical Partners LLC is seeking a contract Pharmacist in Oklahoma to join the pharmacy department for a 6+ month assignment. The role uses RPMS/EHR to process prescriptions, counsel patients, and manage daily operations, vendor orders, and inventory.

Shifts run 8 hours, with 7:00 am–10:00 pm coverage options. Requirements include 1–3 years in clinical pharmacy and a PharmD/Bachelor of Pharmacy with current Oklahoma licensure, CPR/BLS, and immunization certification.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of clinical pharmacy experience in ambulatory or inpatient care.
• Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy duties using RPMS and EHR for the facility.
• Process daily prescription orders, fill prescriptions, dispense medications and counsel patients.
• Receive, reconcile, and process daily vendor medication orders; monitor pharmacy window and calls.
• Perform daily maintenance on pharmacy automation equipment and manage inventory including controlled substances.
• Manage the refill line and process refill prescriptions; maintain documentation in pharmacy records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant pharmacy area per TJC, Safety and Infection Control standards.
• Maintain licensure, attend in-services and trainings; respond to safety codes; and support vaccination programs.
