Job summary

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment in Redding, California. The role is 40 hours per week with 10-hour shifts and rotating start times (5:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 10:00 AM) in a Level II trauma acute-care setting. Active California Pharmacist license and BLS/ACLS are required.

Prior pharmacist experience is necessary; new graduates are not eligible. Experience with sterile compounding and oncology infusion is preferred, with residency or BCPS encouraged.

Job Requirements

• Position: Pharmacist – Acute Care Hospital.
• Experience: No new graduates; prior pharmacist experience required.
• License: Active California Pharmacist license required.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
• Experience preferred: Sterile compounding experience desired; oncology infusion experience is a plus.
• Education/credentials preferred: Pharmacy residency and/or BCPS preferred.
• Charting/technology: Cerner with Omnicell dispensing cabinets.
• Patient population: NICU, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, and oncology.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, varied start times of 5:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 10:00 AM.
• Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend and holidays required.
• Floating: No floating.
• Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed.
• Facility: Level II trauma, acute-care setting.
