Job summary

Medix is seeking a Travel PET / Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in the North Denver Metro area. The role delivers high-quality oncology PET imaging across Midtown Denver, Thornton, and Boulder with a predictable 4x10 day schedule and no weekend/night/on-call requirements, using GE and Siemens equipment.

Responsibilities include high-quality PET scans, radiopharmaceutical injections, theranostics support, data management, and front-office coordination.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an AMA-accredited program.
• Certifications: CNMT and/or ARRT (N); BLS through AHA.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years; 3–5 years preferred.
• Licensure: Colorado state licensure where required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Care: Perform oncology PET scans, radiopharmaceutical injections, protocol setups, image processing, and archiving.
• Theranostics & Radiotherapy: Assist with advanced radiotherapies and theranostic procedures.
• Patient & Workflow Management: Manage clinical data, demographics, records, scheduling, and front-office flow.
• Volume: Manage 7–14 PET scans per day per clinic; max 8 scans per tech per day.
