Qualifications

• CNMT through NMTCB OR ARRT(N) certification required.
• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• At least 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience.
• Nuclear cardiology experience preferred.
• PET or PET/CT experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear cardiology and other nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
• Support cardiac PET/CT imaging workflows.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals orally and intravenously.
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality studies.
• Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles.
• Work directly with physicians and clinical staff throughout imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and efficient patient workflow.

We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract opportunity with an established outpatient cardiovascular imaging practice in Tavares, Florida.

This team is highly flexible on scheduling and is focused on finding the right technologist. This is an opportunity to work in a specialized cardiovascular imaging environment supporting nuclear cardiology and advanced cardiac PET/CT services without the nights, call, or holiday requirements commonly associated with hospital-based positions.
