Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a perioperative registered nurse to provide direct patient care within the operating room, PACU or related perioperative settings. You will apply nursing process, support safety and quality, and mentor new staff to uphold UCHealth standards.

Requires Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges and a full-time schedule of 36 hours per two-week pay period. Compensation is $60.00 per hour plus travel stipend, with comprehensive benefits and professional development.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
• Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
• Direct care includes practice Perioperative, PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) or Operating Room levels of care.
• AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certifications standards are included in evidence-based care models.
