Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatrics RN for a travel assignment in Worcester, MA, starting Oct 28, 2026, for 13 weeks. The role requires 2+ years of pediatric/PICU experience, BLS and PALS, and travel experience.

You will work nights (3x12s) with 36 hours per week in a pediatric unit, including float coverage to PICU. The candidate should be proficient in respiratory care, IV therapy, medications, and emergency response, using Epic for charting, with weekend requirements and union

Qualifications

Active MA RN license required in hand.
Minimum 2 years of recent Peds/PICU experience required.
Current BLS and PALS certifications required.
APHON certification preferred.
Trauma Level I experience preferred.
Prior travel nursing experience required.
Experience with 1:2 patient ratios.
Pediatric-specific care including respiratory management, IV therapy, meds, and emergency response.
Two references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher.

Responsibilities

Work in the Pediatrics unit with primary staffing on Peds and float coverage to PICU.
Provide care for patients with respiratory, trauma, psych, diabetes, general med surg, and eating disorder needs.
Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00; 36 hours per week.
Perform duties with strict adherence to hospital policies and union guidelines.
Utilize Epic charting system for documentation.
