Responsibilities

• Pediatric nurse (RN) specializes in providing age-appropriate care for children or adolescents with a variety of physical and mental disabilities and/or acute and chronic medical and surgical conditions.
• Provide comprehensive, age-appropriate care to patients aged approximately 30 days to 18 years.
• Document the patient's symptoms and medical history and provide bedside nursing care to children on the floor.
• Draw blood, administer medication and give childhood vaccinations.
• Assist pediatrician during a patient examination.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• PALS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Pediatric setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Pay Package

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
