Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel Pediatric Surgical Technologist for a hospital assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. The role involves supporting surgical teams across multiple specialties, with a focus on pediatric and adult cases in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The contract spans 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts. Ideal candidates have NBSTSA certification, BLS, radiation badge, and at least 1 year of scrub experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of continuous scrub experience.
• Experience in ophthalmology, neuro, and ENT; pediatrics and adult cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across a variety of specialties including trauma, transplant, ortho, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics.
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environment according to protocols.
• Support surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries, including lap appy, ortho trauma, polytrauma, and craniotomy.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and use of required certifications and badges.
• Participate in on-call duties, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled.
