Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Pediatric RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Midland, TX. You will care for children across clinical settings, assess health needs, and implement individualized plans while collaborating with families and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a Pediatric RN.
Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

Explain procedures and treatments to children and families to foster understanding.
Administer prescribed medications with pediatric-specific dosing.
Prepare pediatric equipment and assist physicians during treatments.
Ensure the comfort and safety of pediatric patients and minimize distress.
Document patient assessments and responses in the medical record.
Collaborate with families to develop and implement care plans.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives for pediatric care.
Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
