Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics for a travel assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The position requires a valid RN license, BLS, PALS, and acute care pediatrics experience. 13-week contract, 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, travel pay included.

You'll join a hospital partner for a pediatric-focused team, with weekly pay, credentialing support, private housing or housing stipend, and job support from MedPro recruiters throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• PALS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Pediatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care for patients aged approximately 30 days to 18 years.
• Document the patient's symptoms and medical history and provide bedside nursing care to children on the floor. Draw blood, administer medication and give childhood vaccinations.
• Assist pediatrician during a patient examination.
