Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Seattle is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. The Peds-RRT will work 48 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, providing direct care in NICU settings and handling a range of respiratory and cardiology modalities.

Requirements include NBRC-RRT, BLS, ACLS, and at least 1 year of recent acute care experience; PALS/NRP may be required in some areas. Excellent teamwork and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience required.
• NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS required; PALS/NRP may be required in some areas.
• Ability to perform arterial puncture and interpret results.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to NICU patients per guidelines.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Calibrate and maintain respiratory equipment and report malfunctions.
• Interact with care team to ensure continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent respiratory situations.
