Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Pediatric Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The PT will evaluate and implement a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care, and coordinate with a team in a fast-paced setting.

Required 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered), BLS and state licensing. Travel pays per shift with a 40-hour week and benefits; start date 10/05/2026 for 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience preferred; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; good mobility and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting and follow facility guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center staff and physicians to support a team-based plan of care.
• Understand and use adaptive equipment as needed.
• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care; modify as conditions change.
• Utilize Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks and documentation.
