Start date is 11/09/2026 for a 13-week assignment, with weekend shifts possible. The successful candidate will have pediatric PT experience, active Alaska license and BLS, and be able to work in a Magnet-designated Level II Trauma Center and Epic charting environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience; 2 years preferred.
• Pediatric experience required.
• Active Alaska PT License and BLS certification.
• First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience.
• Acute care and pediatric rehabilitation skills preferred.
• Some weekends required (approximately 1–2 shifts per month).
• No on-call requirements.
• Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Pending license accepted, but an active license must be in hand for auto-offer.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric PT care in an acute-care hospital.
• Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Oversee rehabilitation, gait training, and developmental milestone assessments.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and exercises.
