Job summary

Global Medical Staffing is seeking a LOCUM pediatric hospitalist for Pelleted Tarboro, NC. This travel assignment involves 12-hour shifts, with call-only coverage and no ICU duties, in a Level II NICU and newborn nursery setting. On-site Advanced Practice Provider support is available, and NRP/PALS/APLS certifications are required.

Pre-paid travel and housing, malpractice coverage, licensing assistance, and NALTO membership are included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• NRP and PALS/APLS certifications required.
• Level II Intermediate Care Nursery and Newborn Nursery experience preferred.
• No ICU responsibilities for this assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide travel pediatric hospitalist coverage on a 12-hour shift schedule.
• On-call coverage only; no ICU duties.
• Support Level II NICU and newborn nursery care on-site with AP provider backup.
