Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wichita Falls, Texas. This position requires an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience. Other client-specific requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Care for PCU patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment.
• Monitor cardiac and other vital signs and intervene in life-threatening or emergency situations.
• Titrate complex medications based on patient vital signs.
• Work as a travel nurse on assignments with top healthcare facilities.
