Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel assignment in Overland Park, Kansas. Start date 11/16/2026; duration 16 weeks; 36 hours per week; 12-hour days.

The PCU nurse will monitor patients needing close observation, maintain vitals, and respond to changes. This role includes travel reimbursement, housing options, health benefits, and credentialing support through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess non-ICU PCU patients; observe vitals and respond to changes.
• Utilize monitoring equipment to detect changes and intervene in emergencies.
