Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (PCU RN) for a Progressive Care Unit assignment in Urbana, Illinois. This travel-friendly role features nights, 3 days x 12 hours, with a 14-week contract and a start date of 11/16/2026.

Qualifications

• RN registered in PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
• DOB required
• SSN required
• 3 years of ICU/CCU experience
• EPIC experience preferred
• Level I Trauma experience desired

Responsibilities

• Performs duties within unit scope and plans care per nursing process
• Maintains accurate nursing documentation and patient records
• Conducts initial patient assessment and develops care plan
• Implements and adjusts care plan based on patient status
• Ensures patient and staff safety and reports hazards
• Communicates effectively with the care team and families
• Mentors peers and contributes to knowledge sharing
• Adheres to departmental competencies
