Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN for the PCU unit in Madison, Wisconsin. The position features 12-hour night shifts, a 36-hour minimum per week schedule, and a 13-week travel assignment beginning 09/07/2026.

The RN will provide high-quality care in a Progressive Care Unit, coordinate with the care team, document thoroughly, and support patient education and discharge planning while adjusting for ongoing assignments and team needs.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure and BLS certification.
• Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience.
• Preferred ACLS certification or training.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission.
• Develop individualized care plans and participate in discharge planning.
• Supervise ancillary staff and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
