Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for the PCU in Evansville, Indiana. This RN will deliver high-quality care in a 12-hour night shift, on a 36-hour weekly schedule, for a 13-week assignment. Start date is 11/02/2026 with travel-focused benefits and robust teamwork.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, discharge planning, patient education, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required prior to the first shift.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required before start.
• 0 years of experience required; interest in 16-26 week assignment.
• Nurse RN with PCU specialty; willing to work 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop care plans.
• Initiate discharge planning and provide patient education.
• Supervise ancillary nursing personnel and ensure patient safety.
• Document accurately and participate in team care discussions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical decision support.
