Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Overland Park, Kansas. The PCU RN will monitor patients requiring close monitoring, manage cardiac and other vital signs, and provide plan of care in a fast-paced travel assignment.

This 13-week travel assignment requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS & ACLS, and at least 18 months of recent PCU/step-down experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.

Responsibilities

• Progressive Care Nurses monitor cardiac and other vital signs and provide close monitoring and frequent assessments.
• Administer medications and titrate as needed based on patient condition.
