A healthcare staffing agency is seeking a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Farmington, New Mexico. This role lasts for 13 weeks with a 12-hour night shift schedule, totaling 36 hours per week. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of acute-care experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift patients when necessary. Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute-care experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods.
• Comfortable lifting up to 20 lb routinely and patients up to 50 lb as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IV lines.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data shows adverse symptomatology.
