A healthcare staffing agency is seeking Progressive Care Unit RNs for an immediate travel nurse position in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Candidates should have 1-2 years of acute care experience, be capable of providing bedside care, and handling complex medications. Responsibilities include monitoring patients and specialized equipment, administering medications, and stabilizing critical patients. ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required for this role with additional certifications possibly needed prior to assignment.

Formación

• Must possess ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical patients.
• Change dressings and start IVs as needed.
• Administer and record medication, monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Monitor specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring equipment.
