ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The 12-hour day shifts total 36 hours per week and start ASAP.

You will provide care for patients recovering from cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, monitor vitals, manage meds and tubes, document in EMR, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient recovery.

Qualifications

• Must have stepdown and telemetry experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Preferred CV surgery and vascular CVICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients after cardiovascular and vascular surgeries (CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, etc.).
• Monitor vitals and administer medications per protocol.
• Manage epidurals, chest tubes, and tube feedings.
• Utilize cardiac medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Job Description

Join our Cardiovascular Progressive Care team, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients post-cardiac and vascular surgeries. Your expertise will help ensure a safe and efficient recovery process for our patients.

Responsibilities
