ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Acute Care Unit in Brevard, NC. This 13-week travel assignment requires providing high-quality care across medical-surgical to ICU levels, with a 12-hour, night shift schedule (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM).

The ideal candidate holds an active NC RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and has at least 1 year of medical-surgical experience; ICU/Stepdown experience is a plus. Travel benefits and comprehensive health coverage are offered.

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required, ACLS before end of orientation.
• One year of medical-surgical experience preferred; ICU/Stepdown is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures, including IV starts, Foley catheter insertion, and EKG monitoring.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assist with wound care.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members during daily meetings to discuss patient care and discharge needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EMR systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS and ACLS certifications, with ACLS completed prior to the end of orientation.
• One year of medical-surgical experience preferred; ICU/Stepdown experience is a plus.
