Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVPICU for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio. The PCICU RN will provide critical care to pediatric patients with congenital or acquired heart conditions, working with a multidisciplinary team to monitor status and support families.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year PCICU experience, BLS/PALS, and ACLS. Duties include ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and documenting care in the EHR, with 12-hour night shifts and a 13-week travel assignment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN experience in PCICU or similar critical care.
• PALS and BLS certifications required; ACLS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct pediatric cardiovascular care, including post-operative and critical cases.
• Continuously monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms; respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications, including IV drips and sedatives; monitor for side effects.
