Job summary

Cross Country Allied seeks a travel Pathology Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Plymouth, MA. The PA will examine, describe, and dissect gross surgical specimens under pathologist supervision, while coordinating QA activities and preparing statistical reports to support Anatomical Pathology operations.

Requirements include ASCP certification, two years of PA experience, and proficiency with Epic EMR. The role starts 11/09/2026 and ends 02/06/2027, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be ASCP certified; NAACLS certification preferred.
• Two years of experience required as a Pathology Assistant.
• Examination, description, and dissection of gross surgical specimens is required.
• Coordination of QA activities and preparation of statistical reports.

Responsibilities

• Examine, describe, and dissect gross surgical specimens.
• Triaging tissue for special studies and maintaining logs/forms.
• Coordinate Quality Assurance & Control activities in the department.
