Qualifications

• Active WA license or compact RN required.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire; renewed every 2 years.
• PALS or PEARS within 6 months of hire; renewed every 2 years.
• CPAN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• PACU setting; post anesthesia care.
• Day shift; 13-week assignment length.
• Handle care planning, assessment, and documentation.
• May function as Charge Nurse; coordinate staff coverage.
• EMR or paper charting and adherence to Joint pathways.
• Complete orientation and annual Total Joint Program training.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal outcomes.
